About Us

The personal injury law firm of Paciocco & Mellow was founded in 2013 by Gino Paciocco and Jeffrey Mellow.

Our goal is to provide exceptional legal representation to persons who have been injured as the result of an accident.

Meet the team fighting for you.

The lawyers at Paciocco & Mellow have practiced in the personal injury law field for a combined total of over sixty years. They have handled cases at the trial level before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and appeals before the Divisional Court. They have also represented clients before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the License Appeal Tribunal – Automobile Accident Benefits Service, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal.

Jeffrey R. Mellow

Jeffrey R. Mellow is a founding partner of Paciocco & Mellow.

Jeffrey was born and raised in Leamington, Ontario. He attended the University of Windsor and obtained undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Political Science.

Jeffrey received his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Windsor in 2002 and was called to the bar in 2003. Since being called to the bar, Jeffrey has practiced in the area of personal injury and insurance law.

He has represented clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and the Workplace Safety and Appeals Tribunal.

Jeffrey is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Essex Law Association and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.

Jeffrey is an active volunteer with several organizations in Windsor and Essex County. He is a Director and Past President of the Friends of Fort Malden. He is a past member of the Windsor Heritage Committee and a member of the Windsor Museum Advisory Committee

Gino Paciocco

Gino Paciocco is a founding partner of Paciocco & Mellow.

Gino was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario. He attended the University of Windsor and obtained an Honours undergraduate degree in Criminology with a minor in Psychology and Geography.

Gino received his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Windsor in 2005 and was called to the bar in 2006. Since being called to the bar, Gino has practiced in the area of personal injury and insurance law.

He has represented clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and Appellate Courts of Ontario.

Gino is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Essex Law Association. Also he is part of the Brain Injury Litigation Network and University of Windsor Alumni groups.

Within his first years of practice, Gino successfully argued a case that was reported in the prestigious Dominion Law Reports, a nation-wide publication. Gino brings a unique approach to the practice of law fearlessly advocating the rights of his clients until justice prevails.

Away from the office, Gino is an avid musician and soccer player who loves spending time with his wife and family.

Elizabeth Essex

Elizabeth has practiced in the area of personal injury and insurance law representing clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

Elizabeth Essex was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario. She attended the University of Windsor and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature (1984). Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Windsor Law School in 1988 and was called to the Bar in 1990.

Since being called to the Bar, Elizabeth has practiced in the area of personal injury and insurance law representing clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Elizabeth also taught as part of the University of Windsor Law School Civil Trial Advocacy Team for several years.

Away from the office Elizabeth enjoys traveling, genealogy and hiking. In 2015 she walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain. She also enjoys photography and in the past exhibited her work at the Walkerville Artist’s Co-op.

Elizabeth is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Essex Law Association. She is a past President of the Essex Law Association.

Dina D’Andrea

Dina is a board member of Build a Dream, a national non-profit organization dedicated to advancing young women in the workplace.

Dina was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario. She attended the University of Windsor and obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language & Literature and Philosophy. Upon her graduation from the University of Windsor in 2011, she received the Board of Governors Medal for the highest academic standing in the English program.

Dina received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Windsor Law School in 2014 and was called to the Bar in 2015. She began her career as a summer student at a downtown Toronto law firm in 2013 and has practiced exclusively in the areas of personal injury and civil litigation ever since.

Dina is passionate about advocating for injured accident victims and giving back to the community she is proud to call home. In her spare time, Dina enjoys reading, playing the piano, bicycling, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Dina is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Essex Law Association, and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. She is also a board member of Build a Dream, a national non-profit organization dedicated to advancing young women in the workplace.

Celina De Vuono

Celina has appeared as counsel in the Superior Court of Justice and at various administrative Boards and Tribunals.

Celina De Vuono was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie. She attended Algoma University (Laurentian) and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Philosophy.

Celina graduated from the University of Windsor Law School in 2005 where she received her Bachelor of Laws. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2006.

Celina has appeared as counsel in the Superior Court of Justice and at various administrative Boards and Tribunals. Having gained broad legal experience in civil litigation, corporate and commercial law, Celina has chosen to dedicate her practice to the area of personal injury litigation.

Celina represents plaintiffs in personal injury cases, including those who have been injured in motor vehicle collisions, slip/trip and fall accidents and other negligence cases.

Celina is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Essex Law Association and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. She is also an active volunteer with the Amherstburg Soccer Club.

Away from the office, Celina enjoys cooking, baking, reading, watching football, and spending time with her family.

James Granger

James has spent his entire career working in personal injury litigation for injured parties and insurers.

James Andrew Granger was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. James attended Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University) where he majored in Business Law while obtaining a Bachelors of Commerce.

James graduated from the University of Windsor Law School in 2016 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2017. James has spent his entire career working in personal injury litigation for injured parties and insurers.

Having worked on both sides of the aisle, James utilizes that experience to advance his injured clients’ cases.

James now exclusively practices Plaintiff personal injury law representing those who have suffered injuries in motor vehicle collisions, slip/trip and fall incidents, and other negligence cases. James is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Essex Law Association and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. Away from the office, James enjoys going to the gym, jogging, live music, and playing hockey.

Colleen Caza

Colleen was recognized by Precedent Magazine as one of 10 outstanding young lawyers in Ontario and was the first recipient to receive the award outside of the Toronto area.

Colleen Caza was raised in Essex County. She attended the University of Windsor and obtained an Honours degree in Psychology in 1996 and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Windsor Law in 2000. She was the Chair of the Women in the Law association at the university. She received the Alvin D. From award in Civil Procedure and the Cassels, Brock & Blackwell Centennial Prize in Practice Skills.

She was called to the Bar in 2002 and has been practicing personal injury law since that time. She is actively involved in the Windsor/Essex Community. She is a past-president of the Essex Law Association, one of the founders of the Windsor Lawyers Feed the Hungry Program, has served on many Boards and Committees.

She volunteers regularly at the Miracle League with her family and was a Girl Guide Leader for over 10 years.

She has been a sessional instructor at Windsor Law where she taught Torts and Civil Trial Advocacy. She has been involved in numerous presentations and demonstrations for the Advocate’s Society continuing legal education.
